ASCL - Automatic Source Change cum Current limiter

AVR Electronics make ASCL is a fully automatic high precision Micro-controller based system ideally suited for Conservation of Energy of Standby Generators used in Multi-storied Apartments, Commercial complexes, Industrial Establishments, etc.

Generally, the Standby Generators are selected to meet the demands of critical and essential loads of consumers and hence the Ratings of the Generators are lower than the connected Power from the Mains Supply System.

It is, therefore, necessary to stagger the connections and Monitor the current drawn by each consumer, so that the Generator does not get overloaded. The ASCL has been specially developed to meet this requirement and has the following Functions.

RSI - Remote Source Indicator

AVR Electronics is pleased to offer a unique Micro Controller based System to indicate the Source of power namely mains or Standby. It consists of a Transmitter and Remote source Indicator.

The Transmitter is connected at the output of the Generator.

• When the Mains Supply fails and the DG Set is switched on, the Transmitter sends uniquely coded signals through the Auto Source Change Over System.
• You would require only one Transmitter for each Source
  

The Remote Source Indicator (RSI) is required for each Apartment.

• The Remote Source Indicator can be plugged or connected to any convenient power outlet in the Apartment.
• Green Light on the RSI indicates that the Power Supply is from the Mains and you can draw the full current.
• Red Light on the RSI indicates that the Power Supply is from the DG Set and hence you are required to reduce current by switching off the unwanted loads.
